Kings Creek Cascades
Clint and I spent a great deal of time sitting on a huge rock in front
of these falls. It was a fairly short hike, but a challenging one due
to the steep grade down to the falls. The trail meandered through a beautiful
meadow with blooming wildflowers such as columbine and lupine. What I
remember most from this spot was the constant and refreshing spray upon
my face to compliment the heat of the sun beating down. It was interesting
to contemplate the icy cold water rushing over the black volcanic rock
beneath.
